A note from your webmaster:
A key component of our website since its redesign in May 2009 was a forum which allowed for unedited expression from all those with a stake in homecare. I was initially very excited about this component, but unfortunately it was never utilized to the degree that I hoped it would be. The only people who did use it were spammers from Eastern Bloc countries--creating lots of extra work for me. So, as of 1/1/11, the IHSS Coalition Forum is no more. I hope at some future date there will be sufficient desire for this feature to be reintroduced. |

Advocacy takes many forms. In order to create the changes and improvements needed in the home care system, we must participate at whatever level we can. The IHSS Coalition has included tools on the website to assist you in this process. However, we still rely on direct communication to improve our group's efforts on your behalf. |
